stupid question about a/c

what the hell is the difference between a/c and max a/c, i really cant tell the difference

Well, if it were working correctly, max a/c usually blows both faster, and cooler air if you put it on 4. If your a/c is on a low speed then the max really wont make a difference.

on a/c it pulls air from outside, on max air it recirculates cabin air.(cooler air) thats why it sounds louder,but the fan speed is the same

BINGO! The only reason Max A/C is cooler is b/c it starts w/ the cooler cabin air.

It is good to run on max a/c after the car cools off because the system is more efficient and it keeps bad smells that are outside from coming through the vents.

@OP

I have been thinking about posting this topic for the last couple weeks.

I thought that the max a/c might be a recirculate, but how the hell are we supposed to know?! I tried searching for it too, that worked well

If the windows are down whats the point of having the AC on?

If you have the window cracked it gives the air a path to flow out of, makes more air run through the car faster

Plus, if you roll down your window just a bit all the cold air runs right by your face... that feels nice here in SoCal.
