helpp!


im puting in a flip out head unit and i cant find what color the e break positive wire to connect it to so the head unit knows that the e break is up so i can play a movie

just give the wire constant power so it always thinks the ebrake is up

It would make more sense to do what Unixx said and hook it into something that always has power when the key is switched on. The blue wire that is for the remote power/ power antenna has power whenever the key is on, I'm sure there's other systems that run like that too. Your HVAC stuff probably works like that.

If you ground it I would think that that would always tell the head unit that the E-Brake is down and you'll never get the power to it that you'd need.

well i grounded to some random bolt and that worked just fine and i can play it anytime i want. so if someones in my passenger seat they could watch while im driving
