Nitrous Express Kit!!!

Well, looks like the appearance of my car s set back just a little bit more. My buddy was online the other night and one of his buddies on a dif mustang forum said he was selling a NX kit. It comes with the 10lb bottle, mounts, purge kit, steeda cupholder switches, jets, tubing and all the wiring, all it needs is a wop or window switch. The guy only wanted 450 bux, so he had a spur of the moment n bought it. now that hes got it, hes not sure he wants it ( he's got a 96 mystichrome cobra) and so he asked me if i knew of neone that wanted it. and now i'll be picking it up this weekend!

That's the best nitrous imo but you will also need a bottle heater and pressure gauge....

yea, i've got the bottle heater already. Im going to get a pressure guage and a/f gauge for the pillar. my intentions are running somewhere between a 100-150 shot of juice. im planning on getting drag radials for the back end when im on the street, and a set off slicks for when i go to the track.

No I don't, I was about to buy one but I decided to look for a cheap turbo or s/c or a new edge gt whatever comes first, but right now I'm working on a twin turbo deal.

sounds like a deal, i love the bottle
also a fuel pressure safety switch would save your motor in case of fuel pump failure.

Well, i went out tonight and started construction of the new speaker box / bottle holder for the mustang. I've taken the back seat out, and im putting an amp behind the driver seat, nitrous bottle in the middle, and a 10" comp sup on the passenger side.

I've got almost everything cut out, and mocked up. tomorrow after work i'll start shooting it together and glue'n everything up. i would have taken sum pics, but by the time i made any progress it was dark out. so tomorrow when its starting to get fab'd up i'll throw some pics on here!

Might want to be careful, I don't recall seeing you with a thread building your transmission

Either way a full bolt on GT on spray is still pretty quick.... well.. even quicker since you're running a stroker... bastard

just wondering. Yeah, are u going to twin turbo the 6 or get the twins and then get the gt?

I plan to turbocharge my V6, I have $6,200 so getting a Gt wont be a problem but it will be slower, Some guy is selling me his twin turbo for 600 bucks yes full kit but he have it on a 05up mustang gt that's why I'm looking for info.... But theres another problem s/c, turbo, nitrous is illegal in California....

Haha, well actually the guy that had the car before me "claims" that he went threw the tranny and beefed it up. not sure if he really did or not.

She should run pretty damn good now, especially with the nx hooked up. only prob is now im gonna have to install a roll cage, and all those other safety devices. wont i?

Run the 150 shot. After getting a window switch, fuel pump, fuel pressure safety switch and some colder spark plugs your built engine will be begging for it. I ran a 150 shot for a year on a stock bottom end, but now that i've built it up i'm raising it to 200. Its a drug...

Do you mean WOT switch? I would not run a nitrous kit an your car without a wide open throttle switch. You can get by without a window switch, but no way would I skip the WOT switch.

I wouldn't skimp on the window switch either. It can be an expensive mistake.

haha yes, i ment wot haha. im gonna be getting both of them before i run any nitrous. for now im just going to concentrate on getting the bottle mounted and the lines ran. I worked some more on the rear seat delete tonight, thing looks pretty good.

I've got it all hooked up now, too dark for pics tho. my plans are to build an angled peice of plexiglass with blue neons behind it inbetween the amp rack and sub to mount the nitrous bottle to.
