31 spline axle question
im getting my 4:10'S put in next week, i want to also buy a moser 31 spline axle, do i need to change my diferencial also. or will the 31 spline, just hook up and go?

You need to change the differential as well. Depending on how many miles you have on the car you might also want to replace the bearings.

dam, well i just hit 40,000 miles, i also have a bearing kit that is being installed, i got a pair of slicks now, and i want to be able to launch at 4000-4500 rpms without worrying about my axle, would a girdle help out a lot?

a girdle would definetly be a good addition. if you gonna launch on slicks, a 31 spline upgrade is definetly a worthy idea.

thanks guys, im trying to hit 12.8's, i got every bolt on, just waiting for my 4:10's, sub frames, and lower control arms to be installed then its getting dyno tuned, ill run it like that and if i blow an axle oh well, keep on building !!

31 spline is DEF worth it. Just grab the 05+ takeoff one. They are like 5 miles used, and cheap. They work really well. I think you can get them with the carbon clutches in them to.
