...tan?

I went and bought Corbuea racing brackets to make it work, then it was a piece of cake. Its a pain in the ass to mount them down.

mustang_gtr_99, What did you use to mount yours?

I have never used head rests, on any car. My seat sits too far back for my head to touch them without posing a safety hazard. I bought black leather summit racing seats from a guy on craigslist for 200 bucks..WOO
Tell me how you like them. I have been considering getting the Summit seats for a year now. They are so cheap around here. they are selling them for 100 i think for each. Not too bad at all. So let me know how you like them. PM me or what ever you want.

I like them. They are a little more comfortable than the stock seats, they have more lower back support(really big for me, I lift 6 days a week, so I'm always sore). Plus they are black sim leather, so they look tits.

ALOT lighter than the driver side seat btw.

Plus won. Having said that, I am only 5'10" 165lbs I could see how someone TALLER/BIGGER would have a problem in the Mustang. It doesn't have a lot of headroom in it. I rarely use said headrests. I don't have to raise them to get them to be level with my head. I LOVE how the seats just fit me. Most are too big for me.

I have the leather seats, but I don't think that matters. It was one of the requirements I had when I was looking for a Mustang. Something about that leather smell.

Those seats in the pic above are cool. I'll probably get something like that if mine goes bad.

REPS for sure! There you go... And thanks for uploading them. I think they really go well with the mustang interior. they really dont look after market. tall the colors seem to match up.

Also you said you had to use carabu brackets to mount them? These seats don't come with brackets for the mustang? was the install easy?

they just come with sliders. I just bought corbeau brackets from a local mustang shop, cause I really wanted to install them. I had to mod up the brakcets a little bit, but it was nothing more than drilling two holes, and mounting the bolts. I'm sure there's a cheaper way to do it, but a cleaner way; there is none

Hehe, CA is pretty bad with v6 mustangs with a bunch of autozone parts on it. So weak.

Pretty good man. More comfortable than stock seats, lots of lower back support, stitching is really nice. They are summit sport seats, the ones that sell for like 200 bucks. I bought brackets from a local shop.... I mentioned this in a pevious post.

Summit SUM-G1159-2 - Summit® Sport Seats – SummitRacing.com

The seats are really wide though. They almost touch the door, and almost touch the center console.. within about 1/4" on both sides, but it looks really clean that way. The brackets were like 80 bucks a piece, cleanest way to do it though.

THose seats are niiiiicccceee....
