Bad belt tensioner?

Whats goin on guys? I just fixed my bad stud problem on my procharger bracket but when i revved it i noticed the tensioner was flexing all over the place and the belt jumped 2 ribs on the a/c pulley. Does anyone know about the nub that you need to grind off on a new tensioner? Also any tips on install of a new one?

im not too sure about the nub issue but jumping two ribs is either a loose tensioner or an alighnment issue. Probley just a loose tensioner which needs to be tightened to a specific amount of pressure by your standard bodyshop/dealership. I would just pay the 20 bucks and have everything looked over. Im assuiming it is an adjustable tensioner pulley and not an spring loaded pulley. my 2 cents

Im pretty sure its the tensioner but thanks for confirming. I dont think its alignment cuz they look pretty good. I know it was alignment before cuz before i fixed that stud i watched the procharger flex about 3 degrees when i gave it throttle. It was waay too easy to get the belt on compared to what im reading all around the web bout trying to get a 108 belt on. That and i was able to pull the tension off the tensioner by hand. Im strong but not THAT strong. Its the stock spring loaded tensioner.
