New Numbers......

Well today the car survived another tuning session. Shop read 108 degrees and the car made 427rwhp/415rwtq. Not bad but ill take it at that temperature and knowing the car is still alive at 146,000 miles. LOL. Everything is looking good with the car..... for the moment. Its on its way back right now.

I suggested some a/c in that hot ass shop a couple weeks ago when i was there. Louisiana heat doesnt play!

How much was your install on the cams? I'm looking to get custom cams after seeing the numbers you put down at 108*s and the mods you have.

ummm... it was prolly 1200 total for tune/cams/install if i remember correctly. But whatever you do you are NOT going to Houston Performance. They are a joke like none other and it ended up costing me MORE money to get it tuned again by manny at HPP. If i could do it all over again i would not hesitate to get the MPH blower cams. I wish i would have already!!

good #'s baker! glad you got it lined out! i'd be happy with those kinda #'s. if my car doesn't sell and i don't get this cobra my buddy is selling i'm going to up the boost end of this summer and do some suspension stuff.

Love my HP S292 cams they had a nice power band @ 477whp for 3 years, 515 for over 1 year and they ran great. Now at 665 they still pull like a pissed of ape.

Trust me I won't be going to HP. I'll probably have Rocket Performance in Hampton or DTP down in Chesapeake do it. Brent @ DTP does my tuning, so depending on cost I might have DTP do it and tune it while it's there. I'm going to get a custom cam from Modular Speed. ACMiller got me in contact with this guy and is hooking me up. Just waiting on that darn settlement check. Insurance company is dragging their feet.
