The lawyer in me sees a lot of wiggle room in the way they describe that, hahaha.

Yeah, I'm not surprised that it's stronger, I'd just like to know exactly how they determined it.

Do you know what the most power they've pushed on a stock S197 block is?

Wow... weight on that block is 110 lbs... weight for the iron version is 239!

EDIT: Something's screwy... checking the other weights listed, stuff doesn't make sense. I don't think those weights can be trusted in the least.

I only paid $1,200 for it. It is out of an 07 with 1K miles on it. The owner swaped for the Saleen 302 crate and didnt need the 3V. Now I have to strip it down get the block machined and instal the forged goods. Write up to come.

there have been some that have hurt them at 650+. its the same as the regular WAP blocks. with a little work to strengthen the blocks, they can hold a little more. the frp race blocks have been redesigned in critical areas that are needed, and they will hold just about anything you throw at them.

ALUMINUM 4.6 129 lbs
CAST IRON 4.6 168 lbs
ALUMINUM 5.4 220 lbs
CAST IRON 5.4 239 lbs

Numbers verry slightly pending on the type of block
