subframe connectors and traction issues

For starters I purchased a 2000 GT with vortech v1 on it. the car was running 12 psi max but i switched from the 3.12 pulley to the 3.6 (wish i would have got a 3.33 now) the car has some pretty worn out 245 tires on it right now. they are on 17's and are summer tires. when i bought the car I could not go full throttle in the first two gears above 3500rpm or i got bad wheel spin, now that i changed the pulley it's better but not great. My eventual plan for the car is to have around 500-550rwhp. Right now I am thinking of getting the steeda subframe connectors or maximum motorsports ones from american muscle, just seeing which ones people would think are better for my long term goal. Also am thinking of getting 18's with 285's out back, lower control arms, possibly adjustable upper control arms if they would help the traction aspect, fully adjustable struts and shocks(possibly coilovers on front if they will aid in traction) and different springs over winter. car has 3.73 gears also. any info is appreciated! I'm just wanting straight line traction for the most part but it's not going to be a full on drag car.

Good god, I dont know why everyone on this site is quick to say MM for eveything. MM is an awsome company and I would recomend them to any one. I have a few of there parts at that. On the other hand, Steeda, griggs, and others make just as good if not some parts better and for less. As far as SF's go, take your pic from the reputable companies, the quality is about the same.

thats why i said if u can afford it. the only thing i plan on getting from them is thier rear coil over kit and torque arm w/ panhardbar

and i dont mean to sound mean, but everytime i see ur screen-name, the gtr with the forged piston, rotary turbo with headers video pops in my head, lol

OP, I would def. recommend some full-length weld-in SFC's and MM does make a nice set, but will not solve a wheel spin issue. In this case, I would recommend a set of Kenny Brown Matrix ones for better support. If you want to go REALLY hard-core, go for a set of Griggs upper & lower for the best support possible short of going full roll-cage. The Griggs set will require you remove the entire interior of your ride to install, but will give you support you can see in one of my sig pics.

Jazzer

PS. I sure hope you have something more than stock internals on your ride if you plan on 500+ HP. If not, I would expect to hear a very loud boom at some point in your future.

I had custom ones made and tied into the 8 point roll cage.

I made my own X-cross out of square stock. The fitment is better than MM and it's just as strong.

Just by getting wider tires 245 are way to small for the power u have, lower control arms and subframes should help a lot on u traction problem. I just got mm subframes installed and love dem they make great quality parts but alil more expensive then others but I would recommend them.but I suggest u get wider tires first they will help u most in ur case 245 way to small even for me and all I have is full exhaust and bolt ons switched my rear 245s for 275s and helped alot .
