kinda upsetting

i just bought a set of steeda underdrive pullies and installed them yesterday first of all i would say dont try the install without an impact gun and 2nd have a picture of your belt diagram b/c who ever owned my car b4 me took that little picture off (the belt routing sticker). well anyways so i finally get every thing back on and was ready for a test drive well. i went down the road a few times and let the car warm up and then got on it alittle but i couldnt really tell a differnce. when i get out of school today i am going to take a longer test drive but so far this install is kinda seeming not worth the $190 bucks. well ill post later after the longer test drive wish me luck

You won't feel a difference from UDP's alone. Just like you wont really feel a difference from a cai intake. They only make maybe 3-5 rwhp. It's only until you've got 8 or 9 different bolt ons that each make 3-5 rwhp when you'll feel a difference. Don't get discouraged, they are a great mod, just keep working towards some more bolt ons and then you'll see that your car is getting faster.

i say stop where you are now and get a blower. i've spend 4600 on boltons and nitrous.. if i could do it over i'd get a blower from the get go and save some money .. seems like a lot to drop 3000 but if you're planning on adding more and more boltons.. you'll save a lot of money with the blower route

Shit, that's a lot of money for bolt ons. What all did you get? I guess the N2O was a large chunck of that, but damn...

ive been trying to tell people for a long time, instead of buying all the little bolt ons, why not just have your heads ported and polished, and get a good set of cams. itll cost around the same as all the bolt ons, and itll make a helluva lot more hp. just my views

Not only that, but your car will sound like a real muscle car. Nothing like listening to cams hitting a good lick. A good set of rumpety-rump cams speak for themselves...

Don't worry your bolt ons will add up then if you do get a big power adder they will work as a support system.

+1

But... don't forget if you get a blower on a stock system (read=stock internals) you can't run that much psi because your stock internals can only take so much.

But I also agree with drgnracin72, a good p/p and some cams will make your car sound SICK...
