You might be able to get close to 700hp out of the returnless system with a Cobra tank and pump swap and a BAP. I wouldn't try it though if your expecting over 600rwhp. You'll need to swap to a return style fuel system.

If I were you I would talk to the folks at Kenne Belle and see if I could get enough fuel out of the pump you already have by using their Boost-A-Pump. I have heard a few people that use them say they work pretty good. I have aeromotive fuel rails on my mustang and they work nice. Sean Hyland uses 42lb injectors on a 675 horse engine so I would think they would work fine for you.

A Return Style fuel system has a return line going back to the fuel tank. On a returnless system your computer varies the voltage to your fuel pump to vary the amount of fuel pressure to your engine. This eliminates the need for a return line. I would seriously look at a boost-a-pump (http://www.kennebell.net/accessories...boostapump.htm) because it could potentially save you a lot of money. I ended up putting a jdm setup like you are looking at on my '97 cobra and I am wishing I hadn't now because I ended up spending a lot more money that I wanted to. If you don't think that will be enough capacity, then I would still go with the boost-a-pump and get an aftermarket in tank 210 lph fuel pump which would supply more than enough fuel and would still save you money. I don't know for sure what a GT has for a stock fuel pump, but i bet it would be good enough. Also since I am retarded and didn't read your post right, forget what I said about the 42 lb. injectors. I would go with 55 lb., as they would be good for well over 700 horsepower (http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv8fuel.htm)

what is the point of the return line. is that if it sends to much fuel it can send it back?

Yes, on my 97 cobra I have a return line because my computer doesn't vary the voltage to my fuel pump.

Lethal Performance has a kit but it's expensive plus the additional costs of the 03 cobra pumps and tank.

Here's just some thoughts...

- 03 Cobra pumps and tank
- 60lb injectors (drivability is very good with them)
- Fuel Rails & adapters
- Swap out cobra pumps for ford gt or aviator pumps
- Send out FPDM to MJchip, he'll modify it for $100. Your FPDM can suffer from thermal meltdown if you try to run two Ford GT or Aviator pumps.
- Upgraded -8an fuel line (when pushing 600rwhp)
- BAP
- MAF like SCT that support that type of power

If you search the 03/04 cobra forums like ModularFords and SVTperformance, there is a lot of really good info.
