Hood latch problem..

No matter how much i adjust those black knobs up or down my hood looks like its gonna fly up on the highway.. Mainly on the passenger side and it drives me nuts my car is on the highway 85% of the time and it honestly looks like my hood latch is gonna give out.. Anyone else have this problem? I hate how the hood pins look but i might have to do it for safety reasons.. Any input would be greatly appreciated..

Mine used to wobble a lot on the freeway. I adjusted teh bumpers so they were almost all the way up, and lubed teh hatch. Worked great.

yea i know what you mean, if i had to get them ide probably get thos or Mr Gasket Locking Hood Pins

Im not too crazy about those either but to each there own i guess.. I would just want some black ones so there as unnoticeable as possible..

Awww come on you have to get some hood pins. They add 20hp so ive heard.

This is true. Turbo and scott got together and tested this theory. The results were like none other. Test results are as follows.

They put only one on the right side and, after the dyno pull, they found that the right side wheel had went from 215rwhp to 347rwhp just like that.

When they added the other one to the left side of the car, the dyno showed that the left side wheel was at 358rwhp.

They concluded that Turbos car has a total of 705rwhp due to the addition of the stick on hood pins. left wheel + right wheel = total RWHP.

Hopefully all questions regarding hp gains from stick on hood pins have been answered.

who need's turbos or superchargers anymore just get a set of hoodpins and your set.
