Steering Rack Bushings - Aluminum

Has anyone tried the aluminum bushings as sold bt www.maximummotorsports.com for their ride? I got the ones for the stock K-member. Won't have them until next week and no hurry to install them either. A fellow with a convertible from another forum suggested I add them as part of my suspension upgrade that I am doing.
They also sell poly bushings but they said the aluminum will be more responsive(the steering) and NOT have any low speed chatter that metal bushings can have due to a specially shaped washer they supply. Just curious if anyone here has tried them?! Mark
