Hoods

Im going to upgrade my hood. Is the carbon fiber worth the extra money over fiberglass? Its like 200-300 more. Looking at the stalker II hoods.
And would a lot of water get in and gunk up the engine? If so i might just go with a cowl.

Plan on supercharging soon and the extra cooling, and of course some style points, is what im going for.

Well its not that much lighter... and unless i do other weight reduction things 10 pounds on the hood wont be worth 300 bucks? But if it stiffens the car up ill probably do it. How much lighter is carbon fiber over the other hoods?

yea it's only about 9 or 10 pounds differant than the stocker.

they are stronger though.
but i don't think 10 pounds is worth 2-3 hundred bucks

Alright its settled i will probably go with the carbon fiber. The stalker 2. It looks like i will have clearance for the supercharger but i really want to double check. Will it?

matrix, total rice party. seriously. Haha jk it does look sharp actually. I never thought cf was real rice, sometimes it can be, such as on the Interior, but not for a hood.

Just depends. But hey, your stang is hands down one of the sharpest if not the sharpest on here, so I stand down.
