need new differential

i've been trying to get my pinion shaft out but the bolt is broken inside and i can't seem to get it out so i'm considering taking a large hammer to it and from what i've learned my diff with break before that pin so i need some advice on a new differential. i will be throwing in FRPP 4.10 gears in also.

I would upgrade to a 31 spline set now so you don't have to change it out twice.

i already spent the money on a 28 spline axle and i can't return it

mine did that too! had to be blow torched out...and yes a new diff is ready. If you don't have the money to upgrade call a local mustang shop and they should have some stock ones laying around from a Mustang 31 spline swap

dont dick around, go with an eaton if you can affor it, im pretty sure they make a 28 spline set up. i have the detroit locker and it is the closest thing to have a full spool with out having one, really good for racing and tough as nails

sell them on craigslist of ebay
buy 31 spline axles and an eaton and be done with it

do a search, there's a tool to take that broken bolt out (have used them but can't remember who make's it but it's kinda like an ez-out) & with it, it takes about 30 second's to get it out. also at your mod/power level, you'll be fine on 28 splines, don't worry about it.
