So I was just lookin around on google about my auto trans. and i stumbled upon this site talking about a j mod. Has anyone done this? What exactly is it and is it worth it?

I think its garbage, but some will tell you its Great.
I would do a Shift kit or leave it alone.

and if you want a shift kit go Trans Go not b&m trust me ive had both and bad things happen with b&m

Well for one, they kinda have stopped doing them, the only way now is to send them your assembly, which means downtime. Here is the site if you haven't found it already. VAP Auto

You can do it yourself in about 30 minutes with a few bucks in drill bits. On the other hand the jmod is a joke. Get a real shift kit and be done with it like others said. FX4DTUF, what problems did you have with the b&m? I had one awhile back in my truck and it seemed to cause some issues. |
