Kenne Bell Supercharger

I'm really considering gettin the kenne belle 2.1L Kit for 6-14 psi. The kit comes with chip, injectors, boost a pump, bypass valve and recommends 1 heat range cooler spark plug. Are there any more accessories that I may need to purchase? If so give the accessory and reason why....thanks for your help in advance.

If you are getting the complete kit and going for 9 psi you will be good to go.

Just get the plugs, and a CAI. I used the one they sold just to make it easy. You would probably be wise to get it dialed in at a dyno though. A 75mm tb would complement the blower well also. But not required.

thx..I already have 70mm throtte body..my other question is will the stock engine and internals hold up to the additional horsepower...I don't plan on running anything outrageous...probably no more than 9 psi...

9 would be the best. I would start to save up for a motor after that so you can run a crazy amount of boost

Depends on how much boost you plan on ultimately pushing. You could go with a forged shortblock with stock compression and be okay for awhile, but if your goin with crazy amounts of boost (BTW 14 psi isn't crazy) go with a lower compression ratio, but I would definitely get a new shortblock past 12-13 psi, especially if you plan on running the car hard.

I have seen people Run up to 12 Psi On a Bone Stock motor with no issues,As long as you stay under 425Ish to the Rear Wheels you should be fine with a stock bottom end,Unless you want to Exceed 400 RWHP Then you might want to look into a Complete rotating assembly.

At 9 psi, with a 70mm tb and the cai from them i was at 405 hp on a conservative tune.

So don't go past 9 psi till you forge up, its just playing with fire. I picked up some hp from the 75mm tb don't remember how much though. But you would be pretty much exchanging it. You would buy a new one, and sell your old one on ebay/classifieds for a little less. Thats what i did.

If you want to get closer to the 450 mark, then get supporting mods (not required, but fun). Like an aluminum drive shaft, Long tubes, cams.

If you ever plan on more than 9 psi, or think you might forge the block, it would be better to buy the tuner kit and better components. Get an X3, 60lb injectors, cobra gas tank, etc. If you are going to stay at 9psi then the kit is ok. Make sure to run a wideband because the KB tunes are hit or miss.

buy mine... it has everything that you need in addition to a JLT RAI & BBK 75mm TB... it's basically in brand new condition... 1500 miles... never raced or beat on the car while the blower has been on there--too afraid that I was going to blow something with 422 rwhp/425 rwtq.http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...c-s-c-kit.html... tell me what you think
