Cobra R SVO Hood Questions.

I picked up a cobra r svo hood for my wifes car, im kind of worried about that big ass hood scoop and water getting inside of the hood, seems to hit the alternator directly, do you guys think this is ok? i am trying to think what i could do to cover the hole if it isnt good for the water to get in, because i like this hood and we dont want the stocker back on. HELP!

assuming the scoop is open to the engine bay, if you wanna close it up i would say some custom fabrication is in order lol. what yr car does your wife have? maybe you can custom fit the stock scoop insert to fit it. im not sure how the mach 1 shaker system works but its an open intake in the scoop that pipes down to the TB intake so maybe you could do something like that. just put something black on the inside and silicone it lol

I have a hood that has the scoop like that. I had it for like 6 months but the coil pack boots finally gave and water started screwing shit up.
