what it takes to pull a motor out of one of these, i making this post. its not that bad of a job, and can be done with basic tools. i started this about 3am, and had to be quiet so i just used basic hand tools. i broke out with the impact about 7:30 this morning when all the neighbors were awake. in the pic is what i used:

other things i used that arent in pic ar:
2 jacks
jack stands
drop light
engine hoist
engine stand

its that easy, no need to be intimidated by it.

Aside from the ECU, what and coolant hoses, what all did you guys pull off? Do I have to take off the alternator and all that crap like the manual says?

How hard is it to pull off the drive shaft from the transmission? Does it just pull out?

Hell no. I tore down my entire engine when it blew in the parking lot of my apartment complex. Was getting ready to pull it out there too, but plans changed. Had an engine stand in my car port ready for the block.

And at my old apartment, years ago, I pulled the motor out of my old Supra. Had it on an engine stand in the living room. Re-ringed it on the kitchen table. haha.

I pulled mine the first time with an 80$ set of Goodyear (yes the tire company) tools...

Thankfully Ive upgraded since then
