i finally got home from Iraq and added, 18 inch Black Cobra R rims, Eibach springs (2in front-1.8 rear), Hurst short throw shifter, Bassani Headers, Bassani cat-less X-pipe, Bassani Cat-Back, 7in LCD in dash Dvd/cd/mp3 player, BBK Cai, and the car already had 4.10's. On the 14th i am Installing PatriotPerformance stage 3 heads and Comp Cam extreme energy stage 2 cams, with a meziere electric water pump and in the looks dept. some BBK valve covers.







This is a semi finished project, my main goal is 550Rwhp. Im saving up for a P1sc w/3core IC...$4700 you are a long way away! I might add a heat extractor hood, and 75lb shot of NoS in the mean time, and replace the throttle body/plenum that got stolen out of my parents garage while i served in Iraq.

oh yeah and you are looking for trouble buying patriot performance heads, they are junk and have over 1000 complaints with there heads, remember you get what you pay for

i know everyone has there opinion on heads but i will stand bypatriots. i know a bunch of people running them and have no problems. it seems they have there problems from the past worked out. i would go with the d series blower instead of the p...just my opinion

Well when i ordered them off AmericanMuscle.com thats what they said they were, i have 2 center caps with the saleen logo on em but they are Cobra R replica in black. Check the website if you dont believe me http://www.americanmuscle.com/17x105...a-r-black.html . No not a Kmember yet i just showed that picture to show i did the work myself and am proud of it. Here, this is an early pic of me standing in the hotle parking lot next to it after i put rims and tires on before lowering spoiler delete and all the other mods...

As for the heads I know a guy who has em and didnt have any problems with them, so i figured if he didnt i wont. I dunno. But maybe they fixed there shotty craftsmanship since those 1000 complaints.

yeah those are totally different wheels you have on the car, i am sure you did order the cobra but they sent you the wrong ones cause those are saleens on your car.

Ok Im looking at the reciept right now it says Corba R. But i looked up some S style rims on there site and your right its what i have. I dont care tho im not embarrassed they look great. I guess ill just have to fix my french when i refer to them, as Saleen rims rather than Corba R rims. No biggie, thanks for the pointer. What ticked me off is being called a poser, lmao who would actually send in pictures of someone ELSE's car?

I wish i knew earlier i have a rock chip in one now thanks to the Ice storm in Oklahoma in january and the genius Oklahoma dept of transportatin throwing dirt with rocks in it on the icy roads. But anyways what are you guys using to get the pictures on the forum? i tried to just directly attach pics from my camera but they are too big it says. So im routing my pics through Imageshack's site atm.

I have my own FTP but those pics above are hotlinked...

To shrink the pics you can use INFRAN VIEW...It works great and then just upload them to the site...

I would call American Muscle ASAP and let them know they owe you some change...

I don't know when you bought the black Saleens, but they were more expensive. I bought mine back when it was Mustangtuning.com. I have them too in 18x9 and they used to be more than that. I bought mine a year and a half ago for my V6 before I traded it for this Stang. I think mine might be a different brand though. I have a different center cap.

I paid a total of $1300 n some change for the rimes with Z Rated Sumitomo tires mounted and balanced back in July. They are 18x9 up front and 18x10 in the rear. Dmachine i just got kicked out of my unit because im ETS'ing this year and they are a lifecycle BDE, but was 3/67 AR now its 67th FSC Fires BDE, 4th ID. Im up for promotion, but plan on getting out in November, maybe earlier with terminal leave. I would goto the promotion board but whats the point? That and they dangle the re-enlistment card above my head as bait for the promotion board. Yeah im not going back to Iraq, no thanks haha.

Oh yeah and i did buy them when it was Mustangtuning.com too they were just about to switch when i got them. I ordered 4 Saleen centercaps but only got 2 of them and 2 of the "M" ones, whatever they are.
