Raised White letter tires...

I love the look of muscle cars with the raised whites... I think the new age true to form Muscle Cars should bring back the tough street racing retro look... I have right now 245/45R-17 and I cant for the life of me find anyone who makes those tires with raised whites.... Ive tried all the brands.. Does anyone know anything I dont know?

I don't believe you will find any. This was discussed a couple of years back on the mach1registry. I am not aware anyone was able to find raised white letters on a 17" tire. Post a pic of them if you are successful.

I have never seen them, but you can find a special kind of paint to color in the letters on your tires.

cookertire.com or something like that. sell brand new reproduction tires of all 60 and 70s muscle car tires.

Sorry there are none above 16. I contacted Goodyear and Firestone and they advised me they don't make them for 17 and above except for trucks and suv's. I agree with you, those old Firestone 500's were the finishing touch to the old muscle cars. Perhaps if everyone who owns the newer muscle cars with 17's start contacting the tire manufactures perhaps they will start making the retro look on the 17's....

I called cooker tire and had no luck..... They are not aware of 17 inch tires with raised whites.... I would have to probably need to go to a 16 inch rim......DAmmit.... Anyone have some 16 inch rims they wana get rid of?

Yeah my sis has them on her Camaro and they look good, but I think she said they stopped making them for her car too.
