iac?

when my car idles it burps a little and it also idles very erratically on a cold start up, i changed the fuel filter and the maf is fine on a cold start it will idle from 1200 1400 back and forth its like its not getting enough of something, i have posted this thread before and some people suggested checking me fuel trim but i have no way of doing it, besides when i start it up after being drove say half an hour later it smells really rich and wants to miss, kinda like its starving for air and if i let it set and idle it clears up it has me stumped HELP.

it could be. I know that it is money out of pocket but you could get on from the parts store and install it. try it for a couple of cold starts. If it still does the same thing. then just take the part back. They usually say that you can't, but as long as you don't leave any marks on it and clean it off, they will take it back. or borrow a buddies

Just a suggestion.

yeah its a pretty expensive part 100 bucks i hate to spend the money but i am at my roads end this thing is really pissing me off, performance is kick ass that is what don't make any sense, you would think if it was bad the performance would be affected.

i would still check them they dont necessarily have to have alot of miles on them to go bad. also check your fuel trims. do you have any exahust leaks before the o2s?

well you need a tuner or a code reader that hooks to a laptop so you can talk to the computer.
