Hard to put into gear???

Lately it seems like my car is hard to put into gear when stopped at a red light or something. Still changes through gears fine when driving, just seems like when its at a complete stop I have to push pretty hard to get it into gear, and other times it goes in fine, usually goes in fine when I first start it up but if I've been driving for over 1/2 hour it seems to not want to go in. Car has stock clutch, does this mean my clutch is getting bad or needs to be adjusted or???

haha to be honest I wouldn't mind 3.73s but the cost of labour and everything to put the 4.10s in, I'd hate to pay for it again. Also there isn't an aftermarket cable to my knowledge, although I did just search up clutch adjustment and read that you can pull the clutch out until it clicks then push it back in??? So I went down to the car and did that, I haven't drove it yet, won't until the morning but it does seem like it goes easier into gear now. The drive to work tomorrow will let me know.

dude... lets swap. Do the install yourself. There are plenty of us that wouldnt mind walking you through it. Be a VERY cheap swap. Cost of shipping? Think hard on it man. My feedback is solid and anyone on here can vouch for me. Let me know.... Back to your thread....

I think it is an adjustment issue myself.

My main concern with the 4.10s is that they're useless for driving anywheres close to top end. Get about 165 170 km/h out of 4th, with 3.73s what do you get out of 4th? over 200 km/h?

Mine did the same thing... Do you have a Thick Rubber Matt under the Pedals? Turns out the Thick Rubber matt was so thick that my Clutch pedal was never depressing all the way...

And i can Vouch for BAKER on his Feedback. haha. Good guy

ya sounds good, although with your procharger you'd think you would want to stay with the 3.73's? I've always read that if you supercharge it most stay away from 4.10s

I have the exact same problem...my 02 gt when stoped on a red light its hard to put in gear and in reverse good luck..when its rolling gears go thro like a knife thro butter..
I have a centerforce dual friction clutch and a steeda kit...i tried to adjust the clutch thro the firewall adjuster, it helped a bit but still sometimes you need to push harder on the gears...
it doesnt want to go in gears in the morning as well...some morning it goes in gears just fine...I realy dunno what the problem is...
Someone suggested i put a STS. Im going to try that and changigng back to synchromesh oil...im using RP now...
