With 4.10s the engine will be spinning 25% faster at any given speed than with the stock 3.27s. The gears will pull you into the powerband much quicker. The downside is that your driving experience will be much more frantic

Yeah, gears first...wish I had done that as my first mod.

I went the route you're lookin to go- boltons here and there first- nothing big. I will say that I wish I had done two things differently:

1. Get gears first, and
2. Saved all my mod money for a supercharger.

TB/Plenum/CAI is a nice gain, somewhat noticeable, and helped my mpg. I got the BBK UDPs, and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get aluminum UDPs if you decide to get them. The aluminum wears down and makes your belt squeal and it's really fucking embarrassing. So, if you're gonna go that way, get Steeda UDPs.

I agree get the gears instead of the U/P. Don't waste your time and money with the U/P if you plan on supercharging it later.

+1 You can get the same effect by going on a diet and losing 10 pounds, you won't feel the difference. I bet you could get the same amount of performance as UDP's by taking the spare tire out of the trunk, lol. If you get the blue ones they look cool, though.

Be sure and shop around for a good install quote, too- the actual gears themselves are cheap, but some places will rape your wallet to put them in.

Similar to everyone else...

Other than a blower, Gears on the ONLY mod that will make you say HOLY S**T WHAT A DIFFERENCE.. EVERY other mod will make you say.. Hmmm... I think I feel a difference...

For the clutch, just go with the King Cobra Clutch. I have one, its soft as butter, and can handle up to 400hp. Install a new cable at the same time as well.

Lastly, to answer your question... Steeda are the best quality pullies.
