Lowering kits

Im looking into lowering my car and looking into the eibach kits. I was wondering if all i need is just the lowering springs or shocks and struts also.

Anyone have any other suggestions for lowering springs? I'm looking at doing this soon too.
THanks,
Jon

I was also wondering about cutting springs, how is that as far as the ride? Is it a shitty ride or what ? sorry to rain on your thread, but just wondering

What complaints have you heard about eibach? I was looking into those myself.

I have the Eibach Prokit and have nothing but compliments about the look. It definately takes away that 4x4 look. I noticed in the cornering that its not so much sway in it. So for springs its a good 1st start. then look at stiffing the rest of the car!

Heh, looks like I'm not the only one thinking springs right now. These look good for the price:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/forac.html

But I really don't want to buy any without knowing the factory spring rates and the spring rates of a good pair of 1" drop springs. I just want the car a little lower, I'm not autocrossing and have no need for stiffer springs. Does anyone know?

Sorry to borrow your thread, it appeared to be a good time to ask about spring rates. Then you know what to expect ride-wise as well as drop.

Thanks guys.

I just put the eibach sportlines on my 03'. I'm going to need the caster/camber plates to get the front end in line. I really like the look and haven't noticed any bottoming out so far. It dropped about 2" all the way around. I run a 285 40 R17 on the back and 275 40 R17 on the front with no problems. I've always used eibach on my cars and they have always been a good product.
