Do you have a bead roller? It will be kinda hard to steal the design if you dont have a bead roller to put the beads in

Hey... if you are doing track only, could you swap your radiator out for a smaller one or something like that? im sure one half the size would save a little bit of weight.

It will never go back to the way it was. It still has interior. I just got rid of the fog lights and picked up a new shift knob so the old one is going. Later when I decide to buy a s197, then this one will get a full tube frame and become strickley drag. But before that happens, I have to get my future step daughter (2yo) into a Jr Dragster so we can have a 3 car team so I have a while yet.

Yea, i was thinking about getting two black cloth passenger seats so both sides are manual sliders to cut weight but i dont know if selling my leather seats for 300-400 bucks is worth it?

I have a beater mustang but im afraid if i attepmt to gut this one, that one will break down its just my luck then ill have to daily my gutted heap...

S197 would be a sweet Daily my dad was forced to trade in his GT500 to get lower monthly payments but came home with a Gt and its such a nice car.I loved all 3 of his S197s..I just wish i could afford one

On almost related news, my car weighs 3330 with me my bro and a half tank of gas. Im 220, bro is 115ish, so im not too far from having the car sit at 3000lbs and under. You should go weigh your car.

So are you bracket racing your mustang? I've been bracket racing since I was in a Jr Dragster at 14. My mustang sucks at being pretty consistent in the hot summer days around here. Any advice you can give on keeping it consistent? I usually use my camaro for bracket racing but that has taken the back seat for awhile so time to play with this a little.

Scrapped roughly 30 pounds of sound deadening from the trunk, rear seat area and from under the carpet. Long hours with a scrapper and a heat gun lol. and makes quite the mess lol
