Well, im already at 3080 without me in my car, with plans on a full tubular front, an aluminum block, I plan on getting rid of the spare tire well, and removing anything from the front I find that I do not need. However I added sound deadening undercoating to my car, gave the inside a nice coating to help make up for the fact that I have no cats, or a back seat to deaden the sound. This is my DD as of now, and probably next year as well, so I don't mind an extra 5lbs-10lbs of weight if it means the exhaust drone at 1800-2000rpms isnt as bad. That was money well spent.

eh.. seems like a little to much work for me at that point, to make a shell that is, and i didnt know we had the option of a fiberglass truck.
and i would prefure not to weld it shut lol even tho it would be fun, my battery is going back there and i may get the suggested fuel cell (15gal)

I am at 3140 with me in it and a 1/4 tank of gas....that is with full tires and rims, full mach 460 and full A/C....I can lose another 250lbs if I take out the A/C, Stereo, put in skinnies and bigs, and get a lighter hood.....but the goal is 3050 with A/C and stereo...The hood I am getting is 20lbs lighter and I will also be getting the fiberglass fenders...so that should be around 35lbs less....I will be swaping out the carpet for the ACC custom carpet with is 12lbs lighter without the insultaion....and still will be removing the charcoal canister and a few other misc...pieces.....Oh and I found out how to quiet these dam strange 10 ways up front.....sat there for an hour looking at them trying to find the weakness of the noise and all it took was 2 old bushing from my control arms....the middle hardened rubber pieces were used to put inbetween the top of the shock that rests on the bearing and between the short shaft that rides in the caster chamber plate......I noticed that without the bushing there was 1-2mm of play after the it was all tightened up....this make the bearing bounce around betwee the caster camber plate....no more noise....well excessive noise....it is very quiet now....

matt, this is the little black box that frank was talking about

and this is where they are located, you can see the mounting holes behind the tire

I ran into a snag for a bit, i need to fabricate some brackets to hold the exhaust tips up since the bolt to the bottom of the bumper support.

Just take a plasma cutter to the support and leave what you need to.

i guess i can think of a few things.. supercharger with intercooler and piping, torque arm/panhard bar, subframe connectors, and heavy 18's/ thats gotta weigh a couple hundred at least. i opted to keep my a/c during my engine swap, but i would be interested in shaving as much weight as i can and keep the car a street car with a/c and radio.

shit, I forgot I have a supercharger and whatnot to add to my car as far as weight goes. Oh well, I think the power gained covers weight lost.

What is next to the gas tank on the drivers side? is that where the charcoal canister is on these? if so, what do you do with the lines after you remove it?

Im pretty sure it is, With the two 1/2 inch plastic tubes or w/e running to it?
I think thats the only thing over there lol.

Its in the front passenger side fender on my pos i should take it out.

Any way i have the 99+ style tank in mine out of a buddies car, when i had the tank out i just blocked off the baby blue color piece on the top of the tank where them two lines used to hook up.I had to cut a slit in the plastic long ways to get the plastic hose off but then just heave all that b.s in the trash can.
