The chrome is good for that extra shine, but the polished ones will hold up longer. Just have to buff them every so often. I say go (polished)

When chrome corrodes, it will cause your tires to leak. If you do not look at your tires daily you can ruin them VERY quickly by driving on them low. I work at a tire shop and I see this all day long, especially since I live in Colorado...which holds one of the most harch enviroments to tires. Polished will last longer, look better IMO and will be less of a headache.

Purchase saleen replicas and you can save a ton of cash; I did. Cruizenconcepts wholesale outlet. Check craigslist and ebay.
I have a black 2k so the chrome make a huge difference in appearance.

Don't work at a tire shop at all. Just a weekend mechanic myself. I purchased my tires from:
http://www.performanceplustire.com/ Tire rack and eBay have great prices too.

I don't advised polished. They don't look too good if scratched. I'd get chrome Saleen replicas. They even have them in DD.
Here are some sweet 18x9/10 Chrome Saleen DD

thats actually exactly what I'm buying, gonna go with some bfgoodrich tires though, not to sure about their tire and wheel pacakages, I've never heard anything about nexen tires. Although they say they are zrrated, and have better life than most other performance tires.

The only negative thing I've ever heard about thier tire packages is that they say the tires are balanced, but a friend of a friend got a set where two of the tires were off. If you get the package deal have a local shop check the balancing.

I havent quite decided for sure, but I think I'd rather pony up the extra $300 on top of the price for the tire and wheel package and just get some bfgs, besides their tire and wheel packages come with 265s on a ten inch rim, I'd feel better with a 295

Get the tires from tirerack.com and have them all mailed to the shop that will install them. That way you get a great deal on thew tires, they can put the tires on and balance them so once you get there it is a minimum wait. Make sure you notify the shop first or know someone working there.

yeah I got a couple friends that do car repair and tires, etc. I actually just sold my stock hood to a guy that works at a local dealership, he is gonna get me the tires at cost. Instead of the normal $254 the 295s are I get them for like $200. By the way I love the signature.

Thanks.
If I didn't live in NYS I'd come down and get tires through you. LOL Maybe I can go visit my sister next week.
