BS man you can totally fit 20" on. You want to do the max drop that you can on your mustang. A full two or three inches if you can due to the extra hight. i run 18" with 2" drop. Try some coil overs so you can control the drop yourself.
Here is a pic of a 2002 GT with 20" and Kalimari kit.

you will be surprised I have seen some pretty nice stangs with 20" rims. but, the stangs I see are commonly mistaken for all show no go. But, I can assure you the ones I have seen go, and go damn fast to have 20" rims on them.

If you get 20" wheels, which will look badass by the way, you should make gears your next mod to take up some of the loss you have in acceleration.

I run 18" on stock springs now. Im dropen it 1.75" or 2" cant decide what looks best yet. If i go 20" then ill check that 3" drop out I hear Coil Covers are a bad idea though. I wouldent know. I've never used em. ![]()

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/in...q_coilover.php And another: http://www.europeancarweb.com/featur..._buyers_guide/ Just know that you will get better load balancing with seperate S/S and lowering springs, but 80% of all drivers never notice the difference. Coilovers offer more adjust ability. Unless you run hard on the track, not the strip, you would never know the difference, but with 20" wheels coilovers will solve the drop limintations from std. springs and provide excellent suspension strength. Call BRENSPEED and ask them as well and what suspension they would recommend with a 20" wheel. WEIGHT: Check the wheel weight when you buy 20' most people won't notice and as tire weight is the biggie, not your wheel, you are really at a stalemate.
