As far as I know the ports are different...

Of the headers I have seen they sell the 96-98 Cobra as a model and the 99-04 Cobra as another...

I looked for a reference with pictures but could not find any...

there are small differences in the actual port, but the exhaust manifolds/headers will bolt up fine.

they might bolt up, but id get the headers you want first instead of worrying about swapping to the proper ones later on.

flowtech, hooker, pacesetter, dynomax run the same header for the cobra's 96-04. they will interchange, they will bolt up, they are the "proper ones".
