I'd driven cars with both the Triax and the Pro5.0 and chose the Steeda Triax. The Pro5.0 had a shorter throw but the Triax was much smooter and went into 3rd like butter. It's a powershifter's best friend. With that being said though, theirs also the MGW which is fairly new on the market but has gotten alot of good reviews.

I have heard FANTASTIC things about MGW from many forums and people I've talked to. Some used to own the tri-ax and pro 5.0 and they say there is nothing like the MGW in comparison. I have no personal experience, but I have not heard ONE bad thing about MGW, and people have switched over and loved it. You can rotate the handle 360 degrees to your preference of where you want it too.
