The gates fuel line can easily be crimped. You put the hose clamps on there huh? What are your power levels again?

oh i didnt know you were that high.... in that case, it MAY be getting close to pegging. Definitely swap to the dual pumps. I would just find the complete setup like i have. 250 bucks is not bad. It actually depends on how far you are going with the car and what your goals are eventually. Dont wanna be doing this shit for a 3rd or 4th time.

put it in there and see what happens. Do you have a way of watching it to see if it is running lean. Hell you might start a new fad of mixing pumps just for a lil extra rather than getting the BAP.

Do you have a BAP?

Can't mix the pumps, they have different flow curves and respond different to tuning.

And im running the GT pump with BAP (full) and stage 2 fpdm with the 42lb injectors and im fine. With wiggle room. Cant grow much more but it is good for what im at now with 15 psi.

Since the pumps would be wired together what difference does it make what their individual flow curves are? As a unit the flow should always be the same as far as tuning goes.

It may work, but it might be asking for trouble too! In theory it would average out, but what if the GT pump pushes more pressure and creates backpressure on the focus pump?

I've never bought the gates hose, so maybe it is $20-30. I knew it was expensive and i thought $5/ft was expensive!! Even the specialty tubing i buy for biotech is not $20/ foot... well except this special gortex tube we use in big pumps. Its $250 a foot and only comes in one foot lengths!

If it doesn't work out I guess I will have to do something else. Wouldn't 2 gt pumps each be putting back pressure on each other too?

beieve you have to run 2 fpdm's or a modded single to run 2 gt pumps. you can run 2 stock cobra pumps on stock fpdm. There is more cost than just adding a pump(gt)
