hopefully that back pressure will make more fuel come out of the injectors instead

you have the wrong bap,you need the 40 amp version for dual pumps

whats the difference between the 2? would a stage 1 fpdm still be able to handle it?

One is made to drive one pump, and the 40A is for dual pumps. I don't think a stage 1 fpdm will work. You could use 2 stockers.

What about a stock fpdm and a stage 1? how would these be wired together?

I have something in my pants that costs $250 a foot, but I digress

It sounds like you're kinda finding the cheap way out of everything. Think of how much money you've already dropped on your car. What's another $100-$200 to get a proper fuel setup?

If the cheap way works then why spend extra money that I don't have? It cost about $20 to go from a 100% pegged fuel system to 75%. The hose turned out to be $6/ft.

The answer has presented itself in the form of my car not working anymore. I guess one of the fuel pumps died.

lol... i didnt like what you were doing but....

And this talk about the 20amp BAP not running twin pumps is not true. My BAP has been wired in for a while now with my twin pumps with no problems. I know the 40amp is for the twin pumps but i left my bap hooked up when i swapped pumps and all is good. As far as if its helping i dont know but, i know i havent had any problems.

I took the bap completely out and it blew a fuse in the engine compartment so i replaced the fuse with a bigger one. Somehow the car still starts but the fuel pressure on the gauge reads zero and according a datalog the fuel pump is at 95%. The fuel tank is completely full so I don't know how I'm going to fix it, assuming that it is the pump and not something else.

sounds to me like you are trying to N*g**r everything. Just clean your car up man. If you need something do it right or chances are it will become more of a problem that may end up costing more money and time. Now you have to drop the tank again with a full tank cause you tried to wing it.

Not trying to be mean or anything but just trying to help you minimize some of these problems.
