carbon fiber is frickin awsome and I would recomend it to everyone. However, it is not a fasion statement and should be painted. The weight reduction associated with CF is amazing

Lmfao at the Paul walker vin diesel love child comment.
I too like the weight benefits of CF, only thing is my hood is hard enough to slam closed as is. I'd hate to see it become a 2 man job. Also if anyone has seen what CF does in a crash it's some scary $hit yo. Anyways I will post up pics as soon as I become not so lazy again. Lol. God unemployment really takes the wind out of your sails! |

LOL. maybe I should get a decepticon emblem! or just an optimus prime action figure.
Oh and reading around I believe I have subframe connectors too. They are unpainted steel and run from tire to tire. |

Love your emblem turbot4!!!!
Looking at the current status of my radiator and how chewed up it is I'm not too thrilled about Mach1 Grill Delete. I'm ditching the stock grill and getting a black diamond shaped mesh grill for my hood scoop, upper and lower grills. It's small enough to not let rocks and bugs ding my radiator, but large enough to keep airflow. Hopefully it won't look to bad. As for tires you can't go wrong with staggered look on a 'stang it's nasty looking. |

if your radiator is chewed up and you don't want everybody to see it with a grill delete....just hit it with a light coat of flat black radiator paint (you can just hit it through the opening of the grille you don't need to do the whole thing, just the center.. ...straighten what you can with a radiator comb or tweezers...it will look fine and nobody will see it...

Where are you driving that your radiator is getting chewed up? I've run FMIC's with a much larger opening than a grill delete and never really had to comb it out too much...

I bought the car used, the previous owner must have raced it. It had NT555s, Eibach Pro-kit springs and the BBK TB/Plenum. There's even minor chips in the paint on the hood of the car.

oh ya its a bitter sweetness when you buy a car that has money invested into them. I'm always happy when I find another mod already done but then I wonder how beat up is everything else?
I've always bought cars with blown motors before and just swapped it out and even with a new motor I find things with the chassis that go along with an idiot tuner who didn't know what he was doing. You would think I would learn but I don't I can't resist a great deal on a fixer upper with all the resources on the interwebs and my understanding of the wrench. on a side note a commercial just showed me that porsche has no idea how to build a sexy 4 door car. The panamera looks like a midget version of the cayenne. |
