So if I understand you right. You should get better mileage when you behave your self. Like with a turbo, you get better mileage unless you Floor it. But it also sounds like, if you do mat it while you are going 40, does it act like a turbo hitting boost and go nuts or does it come on more like it woudl if you were normally reving it up?

I get shitty mileage regardless of how i drive. But with the 9psi kit i doubt it would kill mileage at all, i really doubt it would increase it though. The air is circulating, but it is still using power from the motor to spin it.
Turbo you have no draw from the motor, and you still get the benefits of it. As for WOT, if your at 40, and you stomp on it, you will have full boost. You will pretty much have full boost within about 1-2 psi from 2k and up. So yes it "goes nuts".
