Went to Dragstrip today.

Well I finally was able to take my Stock car to the Dragstrip today. It's a 99 with only aftermarket exhaust. So this is my baseline.

Best run of the day was the first one. the rest were 9.3,9.4,9.5's

1/8th mile track

9.269
60' 2.182

I don't know the MPH because this track only posts for the winner. I turned mostly around 73-75 on the runs I did win. I did beat another GT about a 97-98.

Based on this time does anyone know about what my 1/4mile time would be?

Now its time for mods to make it quicker!!

Id say that 1/4 mile is mid to low 14's right? Not 100% sure though. Good job man

I would say around 14.1-14.3's.

Thanks

I went to New London Dragstrip here in Lynchburg,VA. I never could get the car to hook really well. Guess I need some DR's. I could get it to come out the hole ok. It still spun but it came out ok, but I really need to work on Second. I crossed up almost everytime I snatched second. Anyone, have any suggestions on Second gear techniques? Or should I just use the clutch more?

I did finally cut a good .03 light on the last run. (most of them were .1XX)
