Did you ever get your wheels rebalanced. Your wheel stock or not need balancing. It is based on the tire, the wheel and the stem. You have to balance it or it will vibrate really awefully if the balance is off a good chunk.

If the shop raped you that bad, it would not be unreasonable to guess that they tore off a couple of weights so that you would take it back and have them rape you more trying to fix it.

Didnt you just put those Saleen rims on the car? Make sure they got balanced. Could be a cheap and easy fix.

some places use "sticky"weights that go inside the rim so they don't damage the lip with the ones that hammer on. The problem with those weights is if the rim is not properly cleaned before they sticky weights are thrown on there, they could eventually fall off because of bad adhesive.

Depending on if you went to tire kingdom on tuesday or wednesday.... the tire tech could of possibly skipped the rim cleaning step... because I use to work at tire kingdom and you do not give that job your all.... thats for sure....

just my .02.

Sounds like ya threw a wheel weight. I have a GMC truck that threw a weight and it shook like there was an earthquake at 60

wow old thread!

lots of shit has been done since then. i installed solid motor mounts and energy suspension tranny mounts, got the new wheels AND balenced them. took the car to tuffy automotive and had the car aligned. so the stallion drives straight as a arrow now no more shaking, but i do have the vibrations from the motor mounts which is fuckin awesome IMO
