I'm getting an eaton! fuck your practicality!! lol!
Supercharged Lincoln Navigator motor in a 1999 Ford Mustang GT.... Turns out that doesn't fit into any of your definitions of practical... All kidding aside I would prefer to hide my blower for a more "sleepy" look. I for one though would go turbo before going "almost a turbo" with a centri. just my personal feelings on that. My 2 favorite sounds besides a bad ass exhaust rumble with cams are 1. BOV's going "PSSSHHH" at every shift, and 2. the high pitched whine of a blower. If I can't have one of those I will get rid of my car... So... with all that said I can't afford a turbo kit...

dont buy your motor from ebay. Check this out: Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market that site has all the inventories from all the salvage yards around. you should find tons of great deals on there. be sure o do several searches for different years and such. fuck 3V. its like half-assing a 4V you r such a dildo... lol

.Although i take necessary actions to cover the motor with pretty much a seal fit to the hood keeping out any rain etc it can become a hassle but i only cover it up at night so its no biggie, Why cover it up at point B unless there is a chance of rain? Im sure people would like to check it out its not every day you see something like that even here in FL where there is not inspections or emissions. And who cares if your cruising down the road and its starts to down poor its not gona hurt the motor.Just last month i took the hood of my Blue mustang to drive out of town to pick up a hood 5 mins into my 40 mins trip it starts to down poor, I drove 35 ish mins in the pooring rain with no hood arrived at my destination and bolted the new hood on and drop home car still runs strong today a Little engine exposure never hurt anyone...

Like i said no garage at my Point A or Point B and i drove this AMX for about 1 year with a hole in the hood, and never bothered to cover it..
And only got pulled over once for bald back tires and the two cops were more interested in the car and what was under/out of the hood then them giving me a ticket... ![]()

IMO if you're in a bigger city, don't always park in a locked garage, and you drive around with a supercharger sticking out of your hood, there's a good chance someone is going to want to steal it.

I have had a car stolen before and I'm very cautious of where I park. If I had a blower sticking out of my hood I would try to cover it making it look as ghetto as possible (when I park it that is). I would cover like my left headlight and fender along with the blower. I'd rather ppl think it's a piece than a bad ass car with a motor so big it won't fit under the hood. I'm paranoid.
