Yeh I like em too. That and rims r pretty much all I think Ima do as far as exterior stuff.
I'm REALLY considering a SCT X3 Powerflash Tuner with a custom tune from American muscle

Id get Gears or MGW shifter. Tuner didnt make much difference at all (you pretty much need a dyno tune), i only bought it to get rid of my CEL and correct my speedometer.

If I could do it over I would have gone with 4.10s rather than 3.73. My gas milage didnt change at all really going to 3.73s.

Id definetly reccomend an MGW shifter, its a billion times better than the stock one.

I wouldnt waste money on a dyno tune with just simple bolt ons. I noticed a difference with my predator right after i but the diablo tune in. If you got a tuner I would just get an email tune. Thats what i run and works perfectly fine

4.10 gears are the way to go IMO. IDK about the 3.73s but man 4.10s are amazing on my car. I love the way they pull you in the seat. id def get those.

Yeh I'm pretty sure that's wat they do.
Ok so newb question here for clarity.. 4.10 gears, could someone give me a run down on wat they do and how they perform in all gears cuz all I kno Is a real basic understanding I.e. 'you take off faster' haha

each gear is shorter but technically it is just steeper so its easier for the car. spots where u drive in 3rd you will now be in 4th. go 4:10s since youre N/A 3.73s are over rated unless your f/i.

when i had my gt my two favorites were:
my diablosport (even before i had it dynoed i felt the difference)
4:10s

diablosport made more power but 4:10s made it much more fun to drive. dont waste your money on a short throw its not going to help you any. get it when you get really sick of the sloppy feeling of the trans.

easy way to think about gears is look a t a 4x4 truck. put it in 4 low and you see the result of a lower gear. same basic concept

Imagine turning a rusted bolt by hand, and then imagine turning that bolt with a 2 foot long wrench. Gears are just a torque multiplier.

not sure about these shifters, but i know the short throw shifters are extremely helpful in 96-98 cobras if you value your transmition staying alive, cuz there is no internal stops in the stock shifter so power shifting, or forceful shift can break the shift-fork or worse. (this is all 96-98 cobra t45 stuff, hopefully ford fixed it by our years). used have a cobra with 4.10's, cai, udp, short throw, cat back magnaflows, was a fun car. had to get rid cuz wouldn't deq without 3 grand fix. then half year later moved where dont need deq lolz

My short throw helped me a lot. I hated the feel and sloppyness of the stock shifter, and the heigth also

gears are what your want pitt i still regret not getting mine yet the tuner is fun but gears is the way to go.... either 3.73's or 4.10's or if your stuck in between be unique and run 3.90's... that is the route im going but FRPP doesnt make them Motive does and they require a little bit of a different install than the FRPP's.... so you dont get the infamous gear wine but they have the install instructions on their site so it shouldnt be a problem
