I got Tweeter to build me a custom ported box that was very nicely built. Was made for one 12" sub. It actually faces the sub upward. They did it for $100.

you cant invert a w7 series... and to the op... the best thing you can do is buy wood called luon or something like that. its the lightest wood ever, almost like balsa. make your rear seat delete. when you buy a jl sub new it comes with a sheet of recommended box sizes etc. build the slot ported box that it recommends the handbook... and DEF go with a 12w7. that would do everything you wanted and still hit low, i dont know what the slot ported box recommended by jl is tuned to but i had a 13w7 and i built the slot ported box from the handbook and it was tuned to 38hurtz and it hit 152db on a kicker zx1000 amp. this wasnt in a stang but still, it hit EXTREMELY hard and never bottomed out even when it went down to 10 hurtz.
