Turbo's are expensive for our cars. But if you plan on building your motor, and you want a high horsepowered car, Id say go Turbo.
Centrifical SC's like Vortech, Procharger or Paxton are also good. Can upgrade the headunits. Twin Screw's make a shit load of low end torque. And sound sexy as shit.

The 2000 GT Springtime Ed. is a good platform for supercharging. You said your car is a daily driver. Do you drive in the winter? Fort Wayne gets that lake affect snow. Will other people be driving your car? For me the answer was yes to both questions and that ruled out the low end torque monster (KB). Centrifical superchargers drive like a stock Mustang if you stay off the throttle but give you all the power you want when you don't. Why? Because during normal driving (1500-3000 rpm) a centrifical supercharger only generates low boost. While racing (4000-6000 rpm) it gives you full boost. This makes the car more controlable in bad weather or when the wife is driving but it still has plenty of low end torque. At 25mph if I go WOT my street tire will break loose in an instant.
500hp and 800hp (crank) are completely different beasts. Last month I read an article about the super Cobra. It appears to be slower than the regular Shelby because they can't get the power to the ground. The tires do nothing but spin. While 500hp can make a good daily driver for a skilled driver, 800hp could have you sideways everytime you try to pass a car or accelerate on wet roads. You will need a really good suspension and even the super Cobra doesn't have it. (Note: Before any one suggests drag radials for my car, I said I answered yes to both questions. Drag radials+rain+wife=???)

yea ill be drivin the snow this year but i'm not doin anything to it this winter. after this winter it will not ever see snow again but as for drivers it will be just me if not i will turn the boost down low so no one wrecks my car. ive already put it back together once not gonna do it again. and it will be a daily driver but only in nice weather.
