Sportline Springs Still Sit Way to High. *PICS*

hey guys, i have sportline springs all the way around. ditched the cheap-o coilovers after tearing up my brand new tokico shocks. anyway, ive had the rears in for almost a year now and they've settled great. passenger side has the iso's removed in the rear to keep the car sitting more level. but the fronts both have the upper iso's removed and its still sitting almost at stock height? i dont know why it hasnt settled yet, they've been in there for at least a month and the shocks were replaced at the same time. The springs are correctly installed with the end of the lower coil facing outward.

any input on why you guys might think its sitting so high still? my pro kit sat lower than this.(pic in sig) im all out of ideas. ill pull the lower iso's over the holidays when i have some more time. thanks in advance for any help!

here's a couple pics.

I scratch my head w/ mine too....

Unless you put the springs in upside down, or they aren't fully seated in the perch.

I agree with lefty. Its BARLEY noticeable but it seems like the sportlines make mine sit a slight bit higher in the front. Im using the sportlines with bbk poly isos.

If you want pics for reference let me know ill find some to send your way.

id like to be back where it was at in my sig pic. the reason why i swapped out was because the old springs were worn out and were starting to sag on the drivers side. so i figured the sportlines would atleast get me back to where it was at, but i guess i was wrong. im not very happy where its at now.

These are the best ones I could find that show the ride height. Quality of some may suck since a few were taken with my phone since this was at work. I tried to find a few that were at an angle so you could compare it to yours in a way.

Also it seems like you said you know the fronts are installed right, and im not doubting you but what about the rears? Are they pointing in the right direction? If not it can cause issues.

Your Issue is 2 fold.

1. Sportlines don't drop that much. Like 1-1.5" drop. So they don't make a ton of difference. Your car does look about 1" lower than stock.

2. Sportlines are cheap. They tend to sag in the rear (hence them looking lower). And they wear out quickly in general (hence your different ride heights). I would definitely recommend a higher quality spring. an H&R or something specific to what you want. Hell, you could buy good coilovers for $300 and use the springs you already have from the old coil overs.

2 things,
1. perhaps the haven't settled
2. the lack of weight over the front (V6)

those are the 2 exact things i was considering after putting them in. it took the rears a while to settle, but not thing long. and technically, these springs are for a GT, so a V6 might sit a bit higher in the front, but dont you think its too much?

maybe its just me, but it looks that yours is still a good bit lower in the front than mine. and i spy a front mount haha.

I believe the opposite, the GT springs are stiffer cuz of the heavier V8 the V6 springs would have been lower I believe cuz they are softer for the lighter engine.
