Quick question before I order

Getting ready to order the JLT RAI, 75 MM TB, and plenum. I've heard people rave about the RAI from JLT but haven't heard much about the TB and plenum from them. Are the parts good quality wise? Anything to be concerned about?

It is professional products. You say a cheap brand, cheap like stay away, or cheap like good quality at a cheaper price?

Professional Products makes good parts they aren't cheap in quality or in price, other companies are just overpriced.

No one's heard any problems with throttle sticking or anything like that? Forget which brand it was I read that about. JLT is wanting 139 for the TB and 109 for the plenum. Am I better off going with the 78 mm BBK TB and plenum combo for basically the same money from american muscle? They're asking 249.99 and it's supposed to have the plenum built in.

Thought it was a stiffer spring. Was that the professional products TB? If it is then I'm not sure why for the same money I wouldn't do the BBK 78MM one since it has the plenum built in for the same money

I wouldnt do the the BBK 78mm Throttle Body unless your force induction. Although I think it looks sweet.

Im running a Mac 70mm Throttle Body, and C&L Plenum and have no complaints, I love the C&L Plenum. On their site they show like 5 cars that picked up some good RWHP with that and a 70 or 75mm TB.

yeah, this is the set up i have.....JLT RAI but i have the 70mm T/B & upper plenum. you can go 75 and be "ok" but anything bigger than that and you might run into some problems. but its your choice, and if your going F/I then it will benefit you in the long run, but not for N/A

You'll get greater throttle response with the 75mm but loose out on the top end.
People say " your gonna have problems" going with a 75mm on a n/a car. There are no problems, you are just not going to see any more gain than you would from a 70mm while your still n/a. There are plenty of guys running the bbk 78mm combo piece with no problems and I have yet to hear any of them say they disliked the results it gave them.

I just put on a BBK 78mm combo. Love it. Throttle responce is great and whistles like a SOB! I did have the problem with the sticky gas pedal. You need to adj./playing around with the idle screw to fix it. Not a big deal. I am idling at 900 to 1000rpms but just haven't played with it anymore.

No I'm not FI and prolly won't be anytime in the near future.

Seems to be like going from a 65mm to 70mm isn't that big of a difference. 65mm to 75mm seems like a bigger upgrade. What kind of problems could a 75mm cause?

alot of people go with 75 mm without any problems, i believe it just gives you room to grow in the future.
