The Trickflow intake might add some significant hp up top.
I'm curious to see the results of just that mod. Or you could always go all out and put a Logan sheetmetal intake on it! |

Just ordered my new components.....Manley H-Beam Rods, Manley Piston, MMR racing pump coated with pickup tube, and Clevite main and rod bearings. Going to have the block checked, cleaned, honed, and have the assembly balanced. Should be good up to 7500rpms no problem. Parts should be in in a week or two.....and then off to get her rebuilt......wanted to do more but the finances won't allow me at this point......she will be a solid motor and should be able to hande what ever I can throw at it.....hopefully she will be done in 3-4 weeks......The set up will be pretty much the same..just forged......the CR will be right at 11.5 to 1....I am going with a -4.5CC dish piston VRS the -2.3 stock piston to keep the CR in check with pump gas.......I will keep you all posted......and the intake with be the single TB blade.......I need to keep peak power under 7000K so the auto tranny will shift right.....anything north of that they have problems shifting properly from what I have researched.....I figure Peak power will come in aroung 6300-6500 rpms with the TFS intake.....
