Doubt it 'cause with that extra power you're more likely to push the pedal down more. Or at least that's what I would end up doing

What about the "Gas Mileage" (I think that's what it's called) tune on the SCT for 93?

I'm pretty sure that it will depend on the driver i.e. pedal usage. lol Also to add if your on a 93 tune isn't that supposed to make your car run more efficient on that tune? meaning more gas mileage?

Yes but not always, Alot of things come into play with Timing etc to make the combustion more efficient, but on a side note i would say using 93 Oct with a stock car that normally uses 87 will improve gas mileage but its so slight i don't know if the trade off is worth it paying for the more expensive fuel.

This is a good question... Bc I'm gonna b gettin a tuner soon and idk which octane to tune it to. I would b ok wit the 93 tune but if the power gains aren't that to much different than the 91 tune, I would just tune it to 91. So I'm not sure wat to do :-/

My only options here are 87-89-93 for the most part i think 7-11 is the only one around that offers 91...Gas is such shit now anyways i would just tune it for 93...

Are there any other benefits from a 93 tune other than it runs better?

you know i had this same question cuz im about to order a tuner and get my car on the dyno when i get back and i dont know what tune to go with. i guess the only way to really find out is to crunch some hard numbers with the different tunes and see which one comes out on top.

I got worse gas mileage with my 93 tune but that's just because I have lead foot syndrome lol

i was thinking the same thing, with the higher tune i would be more apt to just let my foot take more control than it should sometimes.
