check out my garage, my car made 317whp on motor.. it will take a little more than bolt ons and cams to get you over 300. P&P heads are almost a must as well as looking for internals

ANY licoln mark viii's,navigator's and aviator's.
any cobra.. just depends on if you want the b port heads or the c port heads.. since ur wanting too stay n/a then go with the c port heads which means look for any 4v motor from 1999 and up.. check corral.net there's always someone selling 4v heads there. |

If you want 350rwhp, you can stick with 2v heads.
Recipe for a 350 RWHP NA 2V I believe this should answer most if not all of your questions. |

If I do the 4v heads, cam, upper and lower intake, along with headers, h-pipe and muffler, and one of those hand held tune. Where would that put me on wrhp?
PS Also (4.10 gears, no HP but must have the gears)

it seems like getting 300rwhp without porting your heads is a bit of a chore.. but it can be done.
if you want 300rwhp NA you will need: Intake Throttle body/plenum headers offroad or high flow catted mid pipe decent cat-back some fairly agressive cams valve springs underdrive pulleys meziere or electric water pump GOOD tune on 91 or higher octane aluminum driveline (helps free up a little) or.. just throwing this out there... a good used supercharger. Vortech, Paxton, or procharger. you can get a complete kit and throw it on your stock GT and make well over 350rwhp reliably. a kit will usually come with this stuff (it IS needed) upgraded injectors fuel pump tune very highly recommend intercooler head unit piping/brackets check out Corral.net they have tons of stuff in the classifieds. you can pick up a GOOD used supercharger kit for $2500 which will have everything you need and you will make well over 350rwhp easily and reliably. far better than full boltons and cheaper. just sayin... i was just like you when i got my GT.. wanted to make it all motor. after i wasted a couple grand on boltons i realized it didn't make shit of a difference except for sound good and maybe a tiny bit of extra power. then i bought my procharger and never looked back. i had a shit eating grin on my face when i dynoed the car and it made 380rwhp on the first pull, whereas full boltons i was only at MAYBE 250rwhp. trust me, it is NOT worth throwing money into this motor to make it an NA beast. you will spend more money and have less gain

ask all the guys who spend a ton on bolt on parts if they are happy with having made those purchases. ask all the guys who bought superchargers if they are happy with their purchases.

things that are worth the money to the average stang owner. im talking about the weekend warrior, the street/strip guy, the guy who can drive to work and still beat up on civic along the way.
Suspension - #1 purchase in my book. you can out handle a lambo or you can help out your drag game. either way a GREAT upgrade. Tune - better done later than sooner, but will squezze everything out of that motor. brakes/tires - its no good if you cant get traction. its even worse if you cant stop in time. Supercharger/turbo - best purchase available as far as HP/dollar spent goes. lots of options all with their own +'s and -'s Gears - 99% of gear buyers should be getting 4.10's or 4.30's. even 3.73s will still blow the seat out of your pants for a measley $450 including install. Exhaust - let it breathe and make it sound like its your own. $1,500 can get you both things and with very high quality parts. beware the complications of LT headers.
