under hood is nothing. Just take your existing pos cable, cut the battery terminal end off, but a ring terminal on it, slid up the little lid on the fuse juntion block, and attact the old positive cable to the stud, then slide the cover back down. And for the new cable, just attact it to the same post on the starter that the other pos cable goes to. and completely disregard the neg cable under the hood. I ran my new neg cable down to where the quad shock bracket was

you can run the cable up to junction box if you want. but if you look at your factory pos cable, it goes right down the the start from the battery

its not gettin a switch so I guess its not goin to the track lol I refuse to put a hole in the trunk lol ok so im runnin a wire from the battery in the trunk directly to the starter then use the existing wire on the starter (stock pos) to give power to the fuse box...correct?

I have a brail racing battery with a mount for it. It goes where the stock battery goes but it weighs only 17 pounds has 525 crabking amps with 425 cold. Its a lil exspensive but I like it. Go on jegs and check them out. I think there a lil cheaper now too then when I bought mine.

Has anyone else seen some ideas for the shutoff switch? The only thing holding me back is cutting a hole in the trunk lid.

The hole for mine is covered by the license plate. I can remove the handle and only have a small shaft showing.
