04 Stang auto or stick means a lot
flash your ECM move your red line up stretch the gears out a little more install a cold air increase gas mileage and have fun when your tired flash back to stock and keep the air intake and enjoy
with gears for everyday use depends on what you go with you will rev out faster and long rides no more and then you get tired and when you want to change them back you gonna pay again.
you don't have to pay any one to install a chip or flash your ECM.
EXHAUST/ AIR INTAKE/ MAF/ COILS / FUEGO TUNER / TROTTLE BODY=HP
AND THEN IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE GEARS I'M ALL FOR IT

OK then... So as we were saying, gears are the best first mod because they will make a big difference in acceleration that you will feel. Buying a tuner for a stock car will make slight improvements, but not enough to justify the price. A tuner helps get the most out of your mods, and if your car is unmodded then the tuner serves little purpose. Gears will not add HP, but they will give your car more get-up-and-go! If you are worried about getting "tired" of your gears don't get such a tall gear. Go with 3.73 gears instead of the highly recommended 4.10s. Second for me would be the exhaust system. (Magnapacks are my choice) Not only would you gain HP, but what is a Mustang if it doesn't sound like a Mustang?
