any results on blown 5.4s??
Im just curious about how the procharger will go with the Procharger. Are there any results out there of a centri on a 5.4 2v? I have my block and crank and could do this swap so im actually starting to consider it. I just keep reading negative things about the swap.

don't buy into the latest hipe, there's no real negative's about this (ie. 4.6 2v to 5.4 2v) swap, IMO.

what do you mean. I was reading up on some cats saying that the 5.4's need alot of air. What do you think my setup would result in if i ....
5.4 w/ forged internals stage II livernois 2v heads w/ my HP292 blower cams P1sc at about 15 pounds. (maybe upgrade to D1) And the rest of my mods. (i WILL make my LT's work! Got too many tools/torches/welders and best buds with the exhaust shop!)

more cubic inches = more power, period. they need a little more air, true, but nothing drastic. your plan seems just fine to me (all things being equal & sticking with a mild swap).

maybe the adapter plates... you seen what those intakes go for? A cowl hood would prolly be needed huh? Been wanting one anyway!

you could get rediculous and have a sheet metal intake fabbed up?
I have lightly heard that the 5.4's "barrel" the bores on the thrust side of the piston due to a long strokeand how far out of the bore the piston comes...i dont know how much truth there is to it though....GO FOR IT!!!

On a serious note, i just dont have anyone that is into this shit to do it all with me. All my friends are broke or just getting started in life and stuff. (22-25 years old) Buncha late bloomers! ha! But if i had someone near me that knew their shit we could have some badass rides. I can do anything as far as paint and body work and they could have the engine know how!

Well my thing is.... if i go with my 4.6, ill have to pull it and then build it. If i go with the 5.4, i can have it entirely built without my car being down except for the cams.
