forged pistons and good rods a must. i have seen stock cranks go back in and do fine but i recommend a forged crank shile you are there. it would be a good idea a worth the money. after that if you have a fuel system that can keep up and some one to tune the set up you can boost up around the 16-18psi mark and even seen 20psi. all up to you, the terminator set ups are rated to around 600hp on their bottom end. depending on what head unit you have you may need to upgrade to a bigger unit.

the 03 04 cobra rods and crank should handle 1000hp if the rest of your motor is built right for it

you can put 12psi through your motor just make sure its tuned good afterwards with the air fuel at 11.5 across the board. I ran over 12lbs on my stock 85k mile motor for over a year and all i did was kill the rings on my piston but i think thats cause i beat the hell out of it too much and used too much race fuel without being tuned for it.

Does a cobra engine have the same block as a GT with just forged bottom end? Or is it a completely different block?

the cobra block and gt are different but same design only the cobra has a couple extra holes for extra timing compenets. not all of them are made from the same material

Don't go above 10 on stock, actually... I wouldnt go 10 on stock. I have a 00 GT and i am calling it quits at 8.

I've heard BAD stories and SEEN bad results of 10PSI on stock.
